Each year, schools and academy trusts in the UK are required to meet increasing expectations from authorities and stakeholders. These requirements are published by different organisations in the form of handbooks, schedules of musts, standards, eligibility requirements, advice, and guidance.

The School Cyber Security Handbook has been created by Secure Schools to help schools and academy trusts organise these requirements and expectations, with the ultimate goal of helping schools protect against cyber-attacks.
